Privacy and honesty first
Glowki operates under a strict Honesty Rule and privacy-first design. Camera scans travel securely over HTTPS to analysis providers, are processed ephemerally in memory, and are discarded after the report is produced. We do not store raw scan photos or face templates on server disks.
We present Glowki transparently in its pre-launch state, coming soon to Google Play. We do not manufacture fake reviews, invented user numbers, or dermatological claims.
Glowki provides cosmetic guidance and lifestyle tracking only, not medical diagnosis or treatment.
Your results and preferences remain on your device, while optional account and purchase data are handled as described in the privacy policy.

Why ephemeral processing and local history matter
Face photos deserve tighter handling than ordinary product data. Glowki transmits scan images over HTTPS only for analysis, processes them in memory through the providers named in the privacy policy, and discards them when the report is complete rather than retaining a reusable photo library.
That does not mean the photo never leaves the phone, and we do not make that claim. The privacy benefit comes from limiting purpose and retention: the image is used to produce the requested analysis, not stored to disk, turned into a face template, or kept for unrelated advertising.
Your scan results, habits, routines, and preferences follow a different path and remain in local storage on your device. Optional account identifiers and purchase records are stored only for login, entitlement, rate-limit, and subscription functions described in the privacy policy.
What Glowki does not claim to do
Glowki is a cosmetic tool. It describes appearance — tone, texture, undertone, colour harmony — and helps you keep a routine. It does not diagnose conditions, detect disease, or substitute for a dermatologist, and it is not built or tested as a medical device.
That boundary rules out things we could plausibly build. A scan that flags moles or claims to identify skin conditions would be a more compelling product and a worse one, because the failure mode is somebody deferring a doctor's visit on the strength of an app.
It also rules out the marketing that usually accompanies this category. No clinical claims we cannot support, no before-and-after imagery we did not produce honestly, and no testimonials while the app is pre-launch and has no users to quote.
Where the product currently stands
Glowki is Android-first and pre-launch. There is no live Play Store listing yet, no iOS version, and no release date we are willing to state, because a date we miss is worse than no date at all.
What exists is a working app in testing, the free tools on this site, and the guides. The tools are not a waiting list in disguise — they work now, ask for nothing, and are useful whether or not you ever install anything.
When the Play Store listing goes live, the coming-soon status shown across this site becomes a real link. Until then it stays inert, since a dead store badge is a small dishonesty that we would rather not start with.
The website you are reading carries no analytics, tracking pixels, cookies, or third-party scripts beyond the hosted font stylesheet. The interactive tools run locally in the browser and do not transmit their answers.
The privacy policy remains the authoritative source for how the app handles scan photos, optional account data, purchases, and deletion choices.
